The most important thing to do on a day where you are not certain if it will end splendidly, is to start eating a hearty breakfast and drink coffee to warm up. I just did! I went to Baguio with Ate Amy to mark my 32nd year on earth thinking a cold place is perfect for the occasion. I really thought I will be alone on that trip but I met people who are generous enough to indulge in my wish to reach the summer capital of the Philippines. I say amen to my very good friend, Dianne Bernardo!
Once and for all, I would like to say that Baguio is never a disappointment nor a surprise. It is just the way I expected it.

EXPECTATION Number 1. Our ka-tribu is no longer camera shy. They already know how to smile in front of the camera. But they are more than that I believe and I would want to experience that if there is time.
EXPECTATION Number 2. I can ride a horse! This is in WRIGHT PARK. The unexpected one is the fact that the people of Baguio loves folk and country music. I never knew that until our new found friends, Anton and Igmark, told me.
EXPECTATION Number 3. It is really cold out there and the picture below looked like we are in a place other than the Philippines.
EXPECTATION Number 4. You can also take off your jumper when the sun is out. Its nice and refreshing.
EXPECTATION Number 5. Sunflowers are a delight! I like the color of the flowers there. Its just like walking into a landscape of beautiful and colorful flowers!.
EXPECTATION Number 6. PMA! Posing with the cadets. Tayong Dalawa moment it is!
EXPECTATION Number 7. Experience Tam-awan Village. I had my face sketched there and I looked like Michael Jackson. Waaaah. Good coffee, warm staff, cheap souvenir shop, cold water, etc..
| The fertility idol. Believed to give every woman a child once touched . I never touched it though. |
EXPECTATION Number 9. Good Food. We had Beef Sinigang and Lechon Kawali with bagoong at Brod Pit. I really loved the food! They have good coffee too and Pinikpikan (shhhhh!)
EXPECTATION Number 10. New found friends. Meet Anthony Mamma. Official Tour Guide/Yaya/Timer/Entertainer/Friend/Body Guard/Joker
FINALLY....... Kapamilya, Kapuso Bonding. Ate Amy is my buddy who is always up for anything. She accompanied me in my desire to see and experience the City of Pines. Thanks and Love you te!
