I can see myself naked

......this is how I felt when I was walking outside of SM Mall Bacolod trying to catch a jeep for the BIR office. Imagine me wearing shoes that I bought six months ago in a very known shop, and then all of a sudden I could see is my right toes peeping out on the side. My shoes just fell apart in the middle of the day when I was trying to accomplish something!

I really thought, I am naked. And in my nakedness, I am really hoping and praying that I could still get through the south wing of SM so that I can just buy a new pair of shoes.

Well, it is not a kilometer walk from were I was at when I found out what happened. But really, I have to pass through a supermarket, get to the escalator, walk through the connecting bridge, another escalator and go to the further end of the south wing of SM to get to the ladies shoes section. Whew!

It was a great day and things happen and all I can say is that it was never an option to come home and change my shoes. It is because I just made a very good excuse to buy myself a new one! I'm not guilty of spending, I just want to protect my feet!
